US Must Invest in Victim Services to Lead Fight Against Trafficking

On June 23, 2014, The Daily Beast published an op-ed by Ima Matul, Survivor Organizer for the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (CAST). Ima calls on the U.S. Government to invest more resources into available and widespread services to support victims’ emergency and long-term care. Without this investment, Ima questions how much “appreciable progress in combating trafficking” the U.S. can make.
